  A GOOD WAY OF LOOKING AT IT

  “That’s great!  Congratulations.  It’s like a vacation, Stu.  You get paid for not being at work.  And you get to tour downtown!  See the buildings, walk around, and the food over there is cheaper than it is here (in Burbank).  Plus, you meet all sorts of interesting people.  Bring a book, though.  Cuz sometimes it can get kinda boring in the beginning.” 

  - My co-worker’s response when I told him I got summoned for Jury Duty: 

   

  

   

  I’m guessing he’s talking about being in the actual jury because no one else I know has ever talked about getting picked for Jury Duty this way.  Everyone I know has just been summoned for jury SELECTION, but never gets called.  So who knows?  Maybe it’ll be fun.  It WILL be nice to get away from work for a few days AND get paid for it.
